About Yates Family
Todd Jones (Director of Sales & Marketing)
Todd Jones joined the team full-time in January 2010 but has been part of the family for many years. Todd married Mary Yates in September of 2009 at the family vineyard to become "officially" part of the family. Todd worked on the vineyard during a summer back in high school after meeting Mary their Junior year and generously helped through many harvests.
Todd has taken over the sales and marketing. After graduating from Menlo College with a degree in Business Management (marketing concentration) Todd dove right into sales. He has brought with him four years of sales and marketing experience in the construction industry. As a former resident of Sonoma, and being part of the family for so long has given Todd the wine knowledge and experience of formal tastings, and wine etiquette to work in the wine industry.
He further extends his wine knowledge through local tastings, workshops, and networking in the wine industry. On his free time he enjoys waterskiing, hunting, and most outdoor activities. He also enjoys working on his classic 1968 Chevrolet Suburban.
